Podcaster:
Hi, Khushi, good morning. This is Aditi from Jobaaj Learnings.
Khushi:
Hii Aditi, Khushi this side.
Podcaster:
How are you, Khushi?
Khushi:
I'm good.
Podcaster:
Okay, so Khushi, I just want to know — what are you doing currently?
Khushi:
I was eating breakfast.
Podcaster:
Haha okay! So let’s dive into it — what did you study in your education?
Khushi:
I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Delhi University, with majors in Economics and Marketing.
Podcaster:
Interesting! So how did your interest in economics and marketing develop?
Khushi:
Actually, I didn’t start with an interest. I had a commerce background, so I got Economics in college by default. Marketing was my second subject, and over time, I developed a real interest in marketing.
Podcaster:
So now, are you planning to pursue marketing professionally?
Khushi:
In the future, I aspire to be an entrepreneur. But to kickstart my career, I chose marketing. It's a fast-growing field and offers lots of opportunities.
Podcaster:
That’s great! So how did you come across Jobaaj Learnings?
Khushi:
Through Instagram. At first, I enrolled in the Investment Banking course, since I was into finance back then. But while exploring the website, I found the Digital Marketing course and that’s when I made the switch.
Podcaster:
How was your experience with the Digital Marketing course?
Khushi:
It was good.
Podcaster:
How did our placement cell help you during this process? We'd love your honest feedback.
Khushi:
Ma’am Ayushi helped me a lot. She redid my resume in one day because I had to submit it quickly. She also helped optimize my LinkedIn and Naukri profiles. That support meant a lot to me.
Podcaster:
Would you recommend this course to others?
Khushi:
Yes, ma'am. Absolutely.
Podcaster:
Back in school, what stream did you choose in Class 11–12?
Khushi:
Commerce with Maths.
Podcaster:
So how did you end up in marketing instead of finance?
Khushi:
I did want to go into finance. I cleared the first level of CA too. But while working with my uncle's company, I realized we had a good product but poor marketing. That made me see how powerful marketing is — and I developed a strong interest.
Podcaster:
So you saw a gap and decided to fill it. That’s entrepreneurial in itself. Did anyone in your family push you towards marketing?
Khushi:
Nobody did — it was my personal choice.
Podcaster:
Got it. So did our course help you go from beginner to a confident digital marketer?
Khushi:
I already had basic marketing knowledge from college. But Jobaaj Learnings helped me understand the digital side — like how to run ads on Meta, LinkedIn, and more.
Podcaster:
So you feel more confident now?
Khushi:
I’d say I’m still refining my skills. The course gave me the base, but I want to keep learning through practical experience.
Podcaster:
That’s a great mindset. And I hope our placement cell supported you throughout?
Khushi:
Yes, ma’am.
Podcaster:
Just to summarize — you started with commerce, got into finance, explored CA, worked in your uncle’s business, discovered the power of marketing, found Jobaaj Learnings, took the course, and now you’re starting your internship in digital marketing. Is that correct?
Khushi:
Yes, ma'am.
Podcaster:
Can you list a few reasons why students should choose Jobaaj Learnings?
Khushi:
Sure. One, it comes with placement assistance — that was the main reason for me. Two, the modules are well structured. And three, there are live sessions that make it very interactive.

General interview questions answered by Khushi during her selection process
Why did you shift from finance to marketing?
Sample Answer: Finance was my original interest, and I even pursued CA initially. But during my time working in a small business setup with my uncle, I noticed that even with a good product, we weren’t reaching customers effectively. That’s when I realized how important marketing is, and I developed a genuine interest in it.
How confident are you in running ad campaigns?
Sample Answer: I’ve learned the basics of running Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns. While I haven’t handled a live campaign for a brand yet, I’ve practiced mock setups and understand how to target, budget, and analyze performance. I'm confident and looking forward to applying this knowledge in real work.
Can you share a situation where you solved a marketing-related problem?
Sample Answer: When I helped my uncle’s business, I noticed our product had no social media presence. I suggested creating an Instagram page and showcasing behind-the-scenes content and customer reviews. Though I was learning on the go, the visibility increased, and we received more inquiries.
What digital marketing tools are you familiar with?
Sample Answer: I’m familiar with tools like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. I’ve also used Excel and Google Sheets to organize and track campaign plans.
What’s more important in marketing: creativity or analytics?
Sample Answer: Both are important. Creativity helps you grab attention, but analytics tell you what’s working. I believe the best marketers balance both – creative campaigns guided by data insights.
